Information Technology (IT) Roundtable
In addition to the continued development of the EPC Roundtable again this year, we have a new and exciting offering in a similar vein for our Chapter members engaged in Information Technology.
The Board of Directors has begun planning an IT Roundtable in 2011. The IT Roundtable will be a collaborative working group formed to identify practices for improving project outcomes in Southern Alberta's IT sector.
The IT Roundtable will begin with an open dialog through a dedicated LinkedIn group discussion, exploring discussion points of interest amongst participants, focused on emerging trends and challenges in the IT sector. In September, there will be a half-day face-to-face workshop in Calgary with facilitated discussion and elaboration of key interests. Finally, the current discussions of the group at that time will be highlighted as part of a panel discussion presented at the PMI-SAC Professional Development Conference in Calgary, November 2011.
If you are interested in participating in the Roundtable discussions and events, please email itroundtable@pmisac.com and you will be included in all upcoming correspondence.
News updates will be posted when the LinkedIn group is created and the discussions begin on the LinkedIn group.
Through its roundtable initiative, PMI-SAC is proud to provide a neutral forum to facilitate healthy discussion of project issues within the IT sector. PMI-SAC encourages an active dialog among our members, and we look forward to your thoughtful suggestions and insightful observations.
